Get ready for an exhilarating day at the 36th Annual West Point Triathlon on Sunday, August 16, 2026, taking place in the picturesque setting of Cornwall, Orange. This exciting event features a 750-meter swim at the scenic Lake Popolopen, followed by a rolling 22-km bike ride along the beautiful Route 293, and culminating in a challenging 5-km run through the stunning landscapes of Camp Buckner and Camp Natural Bridge.
In addition to the main triathlon, the weekend will kick off with a fun youth triathlon on Saturday, August 15, 2026, designed for ages 2-14, providing a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to get involved. Don’t miss the new free clinic on Saturday after the youth race, where participants can familiarize themselves with the course and transition area. Join us for a day of fitness, camaraderie, and community spirit at this vibrant event!

Welcome to the 36th Annual West Point Sprint Triathlon! Come join us on August 16, 2026 and support our West Point Triathlon Team! The race consists of a 750-meter Swim at scenic Lake Popolopen, a rolling 22-km Bike along Route 293, and challenging 5-km Run through Camp Buckner and Camp Natural Bridge. Additionally, a just-for-fun youth triathlon [https://runsignup.com/westpointyouthtriathlon] will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 for ages 2-14.
NEW FOR THIS YEAR: We are adding a free clinic taking place after the youth triathlon on Saturday, August 15th. This is a chance to familiarize yourself with the course and transition area. If you would like to take part in the clinic please select this add-on during the registration process.
