Join us for the West Salem Freedom Celebration 5K on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in beautiful West Salem, Edwards! This exciting event kicks off with registration from 7 AM to 7:45 AM, leading into a fun-filled day for the whole family. Young athletes can start the day with the 1 mile Kids Fun Run at 8 AM, perfect for children ages 1-10, followed by the main event, the 5K run/walk at 8:30 AM. Both races start and finish at the First Christian Church on West Church St, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere for all participants.
With a chip-timed 5K entry fee of just $25 and a Kids Fun Run fee of $15, this celebration is an incredible opportunity to promote health and community spirit. Runners will compete for 1st and 2nd place awards in each age category, as well as overall male and female prizes, while every child in the Kids Fun Run will receive a medal for their efforts.
