Get ready for a spooktacular day of fun at the West Seattle Monster Dash 2025! Taking place on Saturday, October 25th, 2025, in the beautiful Lincoln Park, Seattle, this exciting event features a costumed 5k trail run/walk, along with a special Kids Dash. Participants can look forward to a festive atmosphere while supporting the South Seattle College Cooperative Preschools.
All registered runners will receive a stylish t-shirt showcasing a brand-new design by Alex Van Gilder and a bib with a timing chip for the 5K race. Jogging strollers are welcome, but remember, this event is for humans and little monsters only, so please leave your furry friends at home. After the race, kids can enjoy a vibrant Kids Zone filled with games, activities, prizes, and a photo booth to capture the Halloween spirit! Don’t forget to pick up your race packet either on Friday, October 24th, or starting at 8:15 am on race day. Join us for a day filled with thrills, chills, and community spirit!

CLOSEDThe 5k starts near Shelter #1, just northeast of the south parking lot. We will be running mostly on trails, running the upper portion of Lincoln Park in TWO LOOPS. We'll run north along trail #6, passing the wading pool and shelter #5. At the north end of the park, runners will turn west and loop around to head south on trail #2, down and around the bathrooms near south parking lot/start line, then back north again for loop #2. The finish line and starting line are in the same location. Course will be clearly marked with volunteers stationed along the way to guide you. Advance registration includes a Monster Dash t-shirt. -
Kids Monster Dash

CLOSEDYour little monster can choose from either a 250 (under 12 years) or 100 (5 years and under) meter dash. The Kids Dashes are short trail runs with our friendly, costumed monster leading the way while the runners chase behind. These are untimed fun runs, and will take place in "heats" to alleviate crowding. We will start with the 100 meter dashes immediately following the completion of the 5k, and end with the 250 meter dash (shortly after 11 am). Participants will wear a "number one" bib and receive a plastic finishers medal so they can feel official. Advance registration includes a Monster Dash t-shirt. -
