Set against the backdrop of the charming Wolcottville annual Mill Festival, this event offers two exhilarating race options: a 1-mile dash perfect for kids aged 13 and younger and a scenic 5K for runners of all ages and abilities. The festivities kick off at 9 AM with the delightful 1-mile fun run, where participants will navigate a magical tunnel of trees filled with bubbles, ensuring a memorable experience for all. Shortly after, at 9:30 AM, the 5K race will take participants through a beautiful half-mile trail, showcasing the stunning natural beauty of Wolcottville as it winds through tree-lined paths and past a historic cemetery.
Registration is just $20 for the 1-mile fun run and $25 for the 5K, with pre-registration available until August 19. On race day, open registration will also be offered, but be sure to snag one of the limited edition T-shirts! Every young runner will receive a participation medal, and the 5K will feature electronic timing for accurate results. After the races, stick around for awards celebrating the top three men

On Saturday, August 30, 2025 the Wolcottville fun run 1 mile dash / 5K Will be taking place as a part of the Wolcottville annual Mill festival. The event will feature two races designed for runners of all ages and experience levels. Pre-registration cost is $20 for the 1 mile fun run ( 13 and Younger ) and $25 for the 5K. Open registration will be available on race day, Limited T-shirts.
we will kick things off at 9 AM with the 1 mile fun run. the whole mile is a tunnel of trees with bubbles!!! All kids will get a medal for participation, and a timer will show your completion time. Both races will begin at 2323 E. 1150 N., Wolcottville, Field of dreams. (NEW Course to be determined). At 9:30am the 5K will begin. Its a beautiful 1/2 mile trail tunnel of trees to Main St. north to cemetery Street, west to a stunning cemetery with tunnels of trees. We do a 1/2 loop through the cemetery left on Booth, left on 1st to myers, (town hall), right county line rd, to left Wolcott st (we have a historical B&B called Walcott Yale), right onto Railroad st, to Countyline rd right,to Main st go right to the tunnel of trees where we began. Immediately following the races, prices will be awarded to the top three men and women overall and the winner in each age division. 5k will be electronically timed. refreshment, food and goody bag included
All proceeds will go back to the town of Wolcottville and the community. Our vision is to clean up, restore and provide a family atmosphere. Thank-you for your contribution!
