Organiser's Description
The 2026 Lace It Up! Kids Running Program will kick off on June 8th. This program is for kids ages 4-13. This will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Lions 3 Shelter in Deming Park. Kids may also participate virtually by choosing their workout location and staying connected through the Facebook page. The goal of the program is to train all participants to complete The Mile on July 4th. Registration for The Mile is free for all participants in the Kids Running Program. If you would like a The Mile race shirt, you will have to add that on for a cost when you register for the race. A registration code for The Mile will be provided at a later date. Make sure to follow us on Facebook for daily updates and messages related to the program.
The first session will be Monday June 8th. All signups must be done online. Kids Running Program meets every Monday and Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Lions 3 Shelter in Deming Park. The program will run from June 8th - July 2nd. Participants will then run in The Mile that will be held Saturday, July 4th.
