Lets celebrate spring in NEPA! Join us for the Wyoming Valley Striders 50th Annual Cherry Blossom 5-Mile Run, as we mark our 50TH ANNIVERSARY AS A RUNNING CLUB IN 2025!

This exciting event will take place at Kirby Park, timed perfectly with the stunning cherry trees in full bloom. Be sure to check out the Cherry Blossom Festival happening in the park this weekend!

PRE-ENTRY PACKET PICK-UP WILL BEGIN AT 7:30 AM AT THE PAVILION INSIDE KIRBY PARK.

ALL ENTRANTS WILL RECEIVE A COMMEMORATIVE SWAG ITEM.

START

RACE START IS AT 9:00 AM. (NOTE: EARLIER START TIME THIS YEAR.)

THIS RACE WILL BE CHIP TIMED.

COURSE

THE START AND FINISH OF THE RUN WILL BE IN THE MEADOW AREA IN KIRBY PARK THEN FAST AND FLAT, OUT AND BACK OVER A MACADAM PAVEMENT ON THE DIKE.

IF THE RACE IS CANCELLED DUE TO ANY DIRECTIVES BY THE HOSTED FACILITY, OR THE WVS, 2025 PRE-ENTRIES WILL BE DEFERRED TO NEXT YEAR. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

* This race is open to anyone. You do not need to be a WVS member to run. You can however become a member or renew your membership during the checkout process. Online memberships are $12 per year. Membership cards are sent within a week of receipt or given race day if received 14 days prior to event or not yet expired.
