This event features two thrilling cross country races: a 3K time trial on Monday, July 21, and a 5K race on Monday, August 4, both held at South County. Designed with middle and high school students in mind, these backyard-style events promise to test your endurance and determination on grass and trail courses.
Participants will be hand-timed, so make sure to keep track of your popsicle stick finish token! While there won’t be chip timing or t-shirts, the camaraderie and competitive spirit will make it all worthwhile. Remember to pre-register to secure your spot, as on-site registration will only accept cash. Bring your hydration, and prepare for a hot and physically demanding challenge. THIS REGISTRATION PORTAL CLOSES AT 2PM. YOU CAN STILL REGISTER AT ON-SITE, $5 CASH ONLY.
3K cross country time trial-style event on Monday 7/21 and 5K on Monday 8/4 at South County! There will be no chip timing, no t-shirts, and no pre or post event festivities. These are backyard-style, popsicle stick, hand timed xc events! It will be hot and it will be physically demanding. Bring your own water/hydration and please preregister! If you don't register on Runsignup, it will be $5 per person for a bib number to participate but make sure you come early and bring cash only. There will be no credit card transactions on-site. If you pre-register, which we prefer, just show up to the table near the starting line, tell us your name, and we will assign you a bib number for time and placement purposes. While this is an all ages event, please know this is geared towards middle and high school age students and the entire course is on grass/trail. DO NOT LOSE THE POPSICLE STICK YOU ARE GIVEN AT THE FINISH LINE. GIVE THESE BACK TO EVENT STAFF SO WE CAN RECORD YOUR PLACE AND TIME!
