YARD TO YARD
26.18 miles. One team. No one runs alone.
Yard to Yard is a team relay unlike any other a point-to-point race from The Yard Gym in Grand Haven to The Yard Gym in Holland. Your team of 36 will cover 26.18 miles together, with one rule that changes everything: two runners must be on the course at all times.
That means no solo legs. When your partner slows down, so do you. When they're pushing, so are you. Every mile is shared and that's the point.
How it works:
Teams of 3-6 runners
26.18 total miles, Grand Haven to Holland
The Buy-In: the whole team runs the first mile together
Two teammates running together at all times rotate however your team decides, strategy is up to you
The Buy-Out: the whole team runs the last mile and crosses the finish line together
This race was born out of the culture at The Yard Gym: bringing people together regardless of fitness background, gym routine, or training style. It's for anyone who wants to find out exactly what they're capable of when they join arms with people pushing just as hard as they are.
We go further together. This race is going to prove it.
