Get ready for an exhilarating day of fun and fitness at the 17th annual YMCA Creepy Crawl 5K, taking place on Saturday, October 25th, 2025, at the picturesque Palmer Lake in El Paso. This spooky themed race invites participants of all ages to enjoy a scenic course that begins at the Palmer Lake Regional Recreation Area. Runners will navigate the beautiful Santa Fe Trail for 1.1 miles before returning to complete a lap around the stunning Palmer Lake.
In addition to the 5K, the event features the Kids Monster Dash Fun Run, a free, one-lap race around the lake designed for children aged 12 and under, covering a distance of 0.8 miles. Costumes and spirited attire are highly encouraged, adding to the festive atmosphere of this community-centered event. Best of all, all proceeds from the Creepy Crawl 5K go directly to support the YMCA, helping families and individuals in need. Organiser's Description
Our 17th annual "spooky themed" race starts at the Palmer Lake Regional Recreation Area. We head down the scenic Santa Fe Trail for 1.1 miles, then turn back and finish with a lap around Palmer Lake. This is sure to be a fun day for everyone! Our Kids Monster Dash Fun Run is free and for kids 12 and under. Its one fun lap around Palmer Lake (0.8 miles). Costumes and "Spirit" wear encouraged! _ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE CREEPY CRAWL 5K BENEFIT THE YMCA AND PROVIDE SUPPORT TO A FAMILY OR INDIVIDUAL IN NEED. _
