The race kicks off at 9:00 AM, with check-in starting at 8:00 AM.

Join the York County SPCA for the inaugural Tails on the Trail 5K Presented by Ready & Able Plumbing, Heating & Air, a community-focused run/walk benefiting animals in need at WellSpan Park.This fun, family-friendly event brings together animal lovers, local businesses, and neighbors for a meaningful morning of movement, compassion, and impact.
Whether youre running, walking, or strolling with your pup, every registration directly supports lifesaving care for vulnerable animals at the York County SPCA, including sheltering, medical treatment, and rehabilitation. Your participation helps ensure animals in our community receive the second chances they deserve.
Come out, get active, and make a difference because every step taken on the trail helps change a life.
EVENT SCHEDULE/PARKING & ADDITIONAL RACE DETAILS
Check-in will begin at 8:00 AM at WellSpan Park (York Revolution).
The race will kick-off at 9:00 AM and take place on a portion the Northern Extension of Heritage Rail Trail County Park with the starting line located at Keystone Kidspace. Participants will run straight to the end, just passing the bridge to the 4 mile marker, then loop back along the course toward the finish. To be considered for awards, you must finish the race by 10:00 AM.
Awards and post-race festivities will be held back at WellSpan Park at 10:15 AM!
**Please note: with your registration, you are still permitted and encouraged to complete the course even if you do not finish by 10 AM**
