Get ready for an exciting summer of running with the Youth TNT Program in Fort Collins, Larimer! Kicking off on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, and running through August 4, 2026, this dynamic program is designed for kids ages 7-17 who are eager to improve their running skills and have fun. Each Tuesday evening, participants will gather at Fort Collins High School for a series of engaging training sessions that include warm-up exercises, core workouts, and interval training, all while learning valuable insights about running and healthy habits.
With a registration fee of just $25, each participant will receive a stylish FCRC singlet, guaranteed for those who register by June 1st. The program encourages young runners to participate in practice races like the Rainbow Run and the FireKracker 5K, with the Mountain Ave Mile serving as the ultimate target race. Organiser's Description
The FCRC is offering a summer youth running program at the track again this year! This is open to kids ages 7-17. The program will run on Tuesday evenings before Tuesday Night Track (TNT) from 5/26-8/4.
There will be a $25 registration fee and the club will offer a FCRC singlet for those who register (you must be registered by June 1st to be guaranteed a singlet).
We recommend kids aim to run the Rainbow Run [https://runsignup.com/Race/CO/FortCollins/SamsRainbowRun] and/or FireKracker 5K [https://runsignup.com/Race/CO/FortCollins/FireKracker] as practice races, with Mountain Ave Mile [https://choicecityrunning.com/mountainmile/] being the target race.
Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible.
SCHEDULE:
5:00pm - 5 Check-in and warmup as group
5:10pm - 5 Core/Stretching and brief running insight of the week (sleep, activity, fueling, peers, etc)
5:20pm - 5 TNT-style interval session
5:40pm - 5 Cool down
This will generally take place at Fort Collins High School, but you will be updated if the location changes.
