Get ready for an exciting weekend of fun and fitness at the Zimmerman Wild West 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 24, 2025, in beautiful Zimmerman, Sherburne! This vibrant event, sponsored by Zimmerman Thunder's Cross Country and Track & Field Teams, offers a scenic 5K run/walk and a delightful 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run. The race kicks off at 9:00 AM from the Grams Regional Park pavilion, where participants will enjoy a picturesque course that features both paved and unpaved trails along the stunning blue waters of Lake Fremont.
After the races, stick around for an awesome drawing with exciting prizes, and don't miss out on the festivities of Zimmerman's Wild West Days, including a lively parade at High Noon! Registration is open until May 23rd at noon, with race day registration starting at 8:00 AM. The first 200 registrants will receive a complimentary T-shirt, so be sure to sign up early! Join us for a fantastic day of community spirit, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories!

Join us for a fun and fabulous 5K run/walk & kids 1/2 mile fun run sponsored by Zimmerman Thunder's Cross Country and Track & Field Teams on Memorial Day Weekend. With a combination of both paved and unpaved trails, this scenic course weaves through Grams Regional Park and along the blue waters of Lake Fremont. The 5k begins at 9:00AM, and the Kids Fun Run (1/2 mile) begins at 10:00AM. Both Races will begin at Grams Regional Park pavilion. A water station will be near the halfway point. Runners & walkers welcome! (No chip timing) Afterwards, stay for our AWESOME DRAWING to win some cool prizes! Again this year, we will be selling $5 raffle tickets for a second drawing with larger prizes. Must be present to win. Following the raffle, join in the festivities at Zimmerman's Wild West Days including the parade at High Noon.
REGISTRATION: PRE-REGISTER BY MAY 23RD @ 12PM. RACE DAY REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICKUP WILL BEGIN AT 8:00AM. THE FIRST 200 REGISTRANTS WILL RECEIVE A T-SHIRT. REGISTER EARLY TO GUARANTEE YOUR CHOICE IN SIZE.
COST: 5K race: $35 Kids Fun Run: $15 with T-shirt, $5 w/o T-shirt IN CASE OF CANCELATION DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
