In addition to the exciting 5K, participants can take part in a fun-filled 1-Mile Color Run, where smiles and colorful memories are guaranteed! The day kicks off at 6:00 AM with on-site registration, followed by the 5K race at 8:00 AM and the Color Run at 9:00 AM. With activities, music, and entertainment for the whole family, this event promises to be a fantastic day of community spirit and celebration. The 10th Annual Breanna Vergara 5K & Color Run (#BVF5K) will be presented on Sunday, April 6th, 2025, by The Breanna Vergara Foundation, a non-profit organization created in memory of 11-year old Bre-Bre and dedicated to advocating for pediatric heart health.
The timed 5K race is a USATF-certified course that will run through the tree-lined streets in the Town of Miami Lakes. This community event will include a fun 1-Mile Color Run, activities, music, and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Official race times will be posted and top finishers will receive recognition during the awards ceremony. Participants who register after March 10th , are not guaranteed a #BVF5K race day shirt and may not be eligible for early packet pick-up.
