Join us for the 11th Annual 2024 Park View Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Kids Run on Saturday, November 11, 2023, in the beautiful Cranston area of Providence. This exciting event is a fantastic way to honor and recognize our veterans while supporting local school programs and Operation Stand Down RI. The 1 Mile Kids Run kicks off at 8:30 am, specifically designed for elementary and middle school students, and costs just $10! The first 50 participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
The main event, a spirited 5K run/walk, begins at 9:30 am at the Park Avenue entrance to Roger Williams Park, right across from Park View Middle School. Participants in the 5K can look forward to post-race food and beverages, along with T-shirts for the first 500 registrants. Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers, and also to the top competitors in various age divisions, ensuring a fun-filled and competitive atmosphere. Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to engage with the community, enjoy a day of fitness, and honor our veterans!

One Mile Kids Run!!! This event will take place in the park on a specially designed course! This race will begin at 8:30 am. The race is open to all elementary and middle school students. Cost for this race is $10!! T-shirts to the first 50 entries for this race.
