Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the 14th Kids4Kids Triathlon on Saturday, September 28th, 2024, taking place at Albert "Ray" Massey Park in Gainesville, Alachua! This vibrant event invites children aged 4 to 18 to participate in a thrilling triathlon while supporting local children's charities. Participants will swim in the Westside pool and bike and run around the scenic park, making it a perfect opportunity for kids to challenge themselves and enjoy a day outdoors.
The event offers various age group distances to ensure all participants can compete safely and confidently. Young athletes aged 4-6 will swim 25 yards, bike ½ mile, and run ⅓ mile, while those 7-9 will tackle a 50-yard swim, 1-mile bike, and ⅔ mile run. The 10-12 age group will swim 100 yards, bike 2 miles, and run 1 mile, and the older participants (13-15 and 16-18) will swim 200 yards, bike 4 miles, and run 2 miles. Registration is now open, with fees starting at $50 for the first child and $45 for additional siblings
