Join us for the 16th Annual Pauly Friedman 5K Family Walk/Run on Sunday, August 4, 2024, in Kingston, Luzerne! This exciting event welcomes participants of all ages to experience a fun-filled day while supporting a great cause. The race kicks off at the Sidney and Pauline Friedman JCC, located at 613 S.J. Strauss Lane, Kingston, PA 18704. Registration is just $25 per person ($20 for students and $10 for children under 10), making it an accessible opportunity for families and friends to come together.
Pre-registered participants can pick up their race packets on Saturday, August 3rd, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Valley Running Company in Forty Fort. Don't miss out on the chance to earn awards, with medals given to the top male and female runners, as well as the top three finishers in eight age categories. Walkers can also compete for medals in their category! This event honors the legacy of Pauly Friedman and supports the vital work of PA 211 NE/Help Line, which provides essential services to those in need. REGISTRATION: Day of registration will be from 8:00 to 8:45 AM. Registration will be $30 the day of the race.
PACKET PICKUP: Pre-registered participants can pick up their race packets at Valley Running Company, 900 Rutter Ave., Forty Fort, PA 18704, from 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, August 3rd.
AWARDS: Medals will be awarded to overall Male and Female runners. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, with best overall times in eight age categories.

About Pauly Friedman: Pauly Friedman was a Board Member at Family Service Association of NEPA (FSA). She served as Board Chair from 1988 through 1990 and organized the first fundraiser for FSA in modern history. Pauly also formed the Friends Committee, the volunteering fundraising arm of FSA. The Walk/Run is in memory of Pauly and her commitment to families. Proceeds raised from this event will benefit PA 211 NE/Help Line, Pauly's favorite program at FSA.
