Get ready for an exhilarating day of outdoor adventure at the 2 Parks Trail Run on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in Leonard, Oakland! This vibrant event invites both avid and novice trail runners to explore the stunning natural beauty of Northern Oakland County. Participants can choose from three exciting race distances: the challenging 30K, which consists of two loops totaling approximately 18.6 miles, the scenic 15K loop at about 9.3 miles, or a family-friendly 4-mile run entirely within Addison Oaks Park.
The race kicks off at 8:00 AM for the 30K, followed by the 15K at 8:30 AM, and the 4-mile at 8:45 AM. Runners will enjoy a mix of single and wide track dirt trails as they navigate the scenic course, which features a new trail linking Addison Oaks Park to Bald Mountain. With a focus on fun and community spirit, participants will receive a fantastic swag bag, including a choice of a soft short sleeve shirt, a BOCO gear headband, and a finisher medal, plus a post-race party with delicious food and drinks! THIS BEAUTIFUL NORTHERN OAKLAND COUNTY TRAIL RUN STARTS AT ADDISON OAKS PARK, TO BALD MOUNTAIN BEFORE RETURNING BACK TO FINISH AT ADDISON OAKS PARK. THE 15K OR APPROXIMATE 9.3 MILE LOOP CONSISTING OF A MIXTURE OF SINGLE AND WIDE TRACK DIRT TRAILS. THE 30K WILL COMPLETE 2 LOOPS. THIS EVENT IS FOR BOTH AVID AND NOVICE TRAIL RUNNERS WHO SHARE A LOVE OF ALL THINGS DIRT!
IF YOU LOVE TRAILS BUT ARE LOOKING FOR A SHORTER DISTANCE TRY OUR 4 MILE TRAIL RUN - TOTALLY INSIDE ADDISON OAKS PARK!
**THE COURSE NOW USES A NEW TRAIL THAT LINKS THE TWO PARKS VIA A CROSSING OF LAKE GEORGE ROAD. RUNNERS SHOULD BE AWARE OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC WHEN USING THIS "CROSS WALK".
