Join us for the 19th Annual Beecher Freedom 5K Run/Walk on Friday, July 4, 2025, at 8 AM in the charming Village of Beecher, Illinois. This exciting event is not just a race; it’s a celebration of community spirit and a fantastic opportunity to support the Beecher Lion's Club. Participants can pre-register for just $17, with an option to purchase a race shirt for an additional $13. Race day registration will be available for $25, but be sure to note that no shirts will be offered on the day of the event.
The race course winds through beautiful Beecher, featuring accurately marked miles and a computerized timing system, ensuring a smooth experience for all runners and walkers. Refreshments will be provided post-race, and a water station will be available at the halfway point to keep everyone hydrated. Last year, over 250 participants joined in the fun, and this year promises to be even bigger! The proceeds from this event will help provide essential vision screenings, eyeglasses, and hearing aids to local residents in need. Sponsored by and a major fundraiser for the Beecher Lion's Club, the "19th Annual" race will be held on July 4, 2025 at 8 AM. Same day registration and check-in will be 7:00 - 7:45 AM. The entry fee is $17 pre-registered - race shirts are an additional $13. Race day registration is $25 (No shirts on race day). Start/Finish and Registration are at the Community Hall, located at 673 Penfield St. The race course winds through the Village of Beecher with a water station at the halfway point. The race includes accurately marked miles, a computerized timing, and free refreshments after the race. The Freedom 5K is the Lion's Club opportunity to raise funds in support of our mission to serve the Beecher Community. The proceeds from this event will help provide vision screenings, eye glasses, and hearing aids to local residents needing financial assistance. Last year we had over 250 participants, come see why!!
