Organiser's Description
The Lake Area Turkey Trot 5K is a family tradition held on Thanksgiving morning at Camdenton High School. 2025 will be the 16th year for this event. It's attended by many families who want to kick their holiday off with some exercise, friendly competition and camaraderie.
The 1 mile fun run begins at 7:45, the 5k at 8:30. Walk-up registration will open at 7:00am.
Hosted by FundRuns and all profits go to Share the Harvest food pantry and Camdenton Cross Country team.
5k registration cost:
Through November 13: $25 (shirt provided)
November 13-25: $25 (no shirt provided) A very few extra shirts have been ordered and will be given away as long as they are available on race morning.
Race Day Registration - $30 (no shirt provided)

Race morning packet pickup will start at 7:00am at the high school, 662 Laker Pride Rd, Camdenton.
On-site registration will also be available at those times for people that still want to join us.
FAMILY DISCOUNT: Because this is a family event, we want to make it as reasonable as possible Register 4 or more people and save $15. You must register all 4 at the same time for the discount to be automatically applied.
There will be no awards for the fun run. Children completing the event will receive a finishers medal.
5K AWARDS
Overall Male & Female winners receive a plaque and a cash prize.
Men's and Women's Divisions awards are given in the following age groups:15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.
Age group awards will be given to the top three in each category.
For boys and girls in the following age groups medals are given: 10 & under, 11-14.
