Participants will not only enjoy the thrill of competition but will also receive custom finishers' medals and event tech shirts to commemorate their achievements. Awards will be presented to the top 1st-3rd Overall Male and Female Winners, as well as to the best Male and Female finishers in various age groups. Plus, don’t miss the recognition of the Top Co-Ed Teams! Join us Memorial Day weekend for the 5th Annual Maricopa Memorial Day 5k sponsored by ACP Painting! Run or walk our spectator-friendly course at the beautiful Copper Sky Recreation Center in Maricopa, AZ. This is a chip-timed event. All participants will receive custom finishers' medals and an event tech shirt. In addition, an award ceremony to follow the event for 1st-3rd Overall Male/Female Winners, Male/Female age group winners, and Top Co-Ed Teams will be held. 100% of profits will benefit The Veterans In Need Project, a non-profit organization.
The event Start/Finish will be at the large Ramada next to the Copper Sky Lake (just east of the recreation building).
