Event summary
Get ready for the exciting 2025 MHRRC Summer Twilight Track Series, taking place from June 27 to July 25, 2025, in the beautiful town of Lagrangeville, Dutchess! This beloved community event has been a family-oriented tradition for over fifty years, welcoming runners of all ages to Arlington High School for four consecutive Fridays filled with camaraderie and competition.
Participants can look forward to a wide range of races tailored for both kids and adults. Young athletes aged 14 and under will have the chance to compete in a variety of fun races, from the thrilling 40-meter dash for the littlest ones to the challenging 800-meter dash. Open races will feature distances such as the 100-meter, 200-meter, 400-meter, 800-meter, 1600-meter, and the ultimate 3200-meter run. Plus, if time allows and enough teams form, there will even be a mile relay to round out the evening! Every child will receive a finisher ribbon for their efforts, and registrants aged 14 and under will also take home a special MHRRC Summer Twilight Track Series T-shirt.

Organiser's Description
MHRRC has been hosting these family-oriented community track meets for more than fifty years! Once again, the events will be held at Arlington High School. There are four events on four consecutive Fridays in June/July; June 27, July 11th, 18th, and 25th. Registration opens at 5:30pm and the first event starts at 6:15pm sharp. We will delay and/or cancel an event if there is an imminent thunderstorm, so if you are signed up, please pay attention to email and social media (Facebook: MHRRC / Dutchess County Classic and MHRRC group) for real-time updates.
EVERY RUNNER 14 AND UNDER IS AWARDED A FINISHER RIBBON IN EVERY RACE!!
Events span from the four & under toddler's 40m dash to the open 3200m run. If we have daylight left and there are enough runners to form teams, we can also have a mile relay at the end. Sorry, there are no field events. All events are hand timed. If you attend, please remember to keep your bib to reuse at every event.
Kid's Races (14 & under) will include the following events:
- Straightaway dashes (40-100 meters)
- 200-meter dash
- 400-meter dash
- 800-meter dash
Open Races will include the following events:

FREE T-SHIRTS WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO VOLUNTEERS - PLEASE CONSIDER VOLUNTEERING FOR ONE OR MORE OF OUR EVENINGS. WE NEED ADULT VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE WILLING TO LEARN HOW TO USE THE HAND TIMERS, TO HELP RECORD RESULTS AND PASS OUT RIBBONS AS RUNNERS CROSS THE FINISH LINE, AND TO HELP AT OUR REGISTRATION TABLE.
