THE EQUINOX TRAIL RUN 2026

THE BCRR EQUINOX TRAIL RUN IS SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY JUNE 20, 2025 IN TYLER STATE PARK PA.

TYLER STATE PARK WILL AGAIN PLAY HOST TO THE EQUINOX, OFFERING BOTH DIRT TRAIL AND PAVED LOOPS WITHIN THE PARK, RUN EITHER OR BOTH. THE EVENT WILL BE SIMILAR TO PAST BCRR EQUINOX TRAIL EVENTS IN THAT WELL HAVE AN ALL-DAY TRAIL RUN, ON A LOOPED COURSES. LOOPS WILL START/END AT THE NO.1 LANE PARKING LOT, NEAR THE ART CENTER. THIS IS A "COME OUT AND PLAY ON TRAILS" EVENT, RUN WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND EXPERIENCE THE TRAIL RUNNING VIBE.

THE EQUINOX IS FREE TO BUCKS COUNTY ROAD RUNNER MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. NON CLUB MEMBERS ARE ASKED TO PAY A SMALL FEE. PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE AN EQUINOX TRAIL CAP. FOOD AND REFRESHMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THE RUNNERS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. DONATIONS ARE ENCOURAGED TO HELP DEFER SOME OF THE THE COST.

THE TRAIL RUN WILL TAKE PLACE ON A WELL-MARKED ~5 MILE TRAIL LOOP, OR A ~5 MILE PAVED LOOP. YOU WILL HAVE 11 HOURS TO RUN AS MANY OR AS FEW LOOPS AS YOU WANT. LOOPS SHOULD BE RUN IN ALTERNATING DIRECTIONS, TO PASS AND CHEER FELLOW RUNNERS. WE WILL AWARD A MENS AND WOMENS DISTANCE ACHIEVER AWARD BASED ON TOTAL MILEAGE THROUGHOUT THE DAY. OTHERWISE, THIS IS A NON-COMPETITIVE FUN EVENT. RUN AS MUCH OR AS LITTLE AS YOU WANT, HANG OUT AND CHAT WITH FRIENDS. THE TRAILS IN THE PARK ARE BEAUTIFUL AND THIS WILL BE A GREAT DAY TO COME TOGETHER AS A RUNNING COMMUNITY TO ENJOY THE DAY!

ORIGINALLY CREATED IN 2008, AS A COMPILATION OF ALL THE BCRR WINTER SERIES COURSES, THE EQUINOX OFFERED CLUB MEMBERS A CHALLENGE OF SEEING HOW FAR THEY COULD RUN. SEVERAL INDIVIDUALS AND TEAMS ACHIEVED THE 50 MILE TOTAL THAT FIRST YEAR. THIS EQUINOX 2.5, TRAIL VERSION PROVIDES A SIMILAR OPPORTUNITY TO TEST YOUR ENDURANCE LIMITS, ON SOFT DIRT TRAILS. THOSE REMINISCING ON THE ORIGINAL FORMAT OF RUNNING ALL THE BCRR WINTER SERIES COURSES ARE WELCOME TO GIVE IT A GO.
