Join us on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, for the exciting GCR Firecracker 5K in beautiful Naples, Collier! This festive event offers participants the chance to celebrate Independence Day by running, walking, or run/walking in a scenic double loop course through Lake Park. The race kicks off at 7 AM, with packet pick-up happening the day before on July 3rd from 11 AM to 2 PM at Naples on the Run, and again on race day starting at 5:30 AM in Fleischmann Park.
All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt at packet pick-up and a finisher medal upon completing the race. Plus, there will be age group awards for the top five finishers! Families can also enjoy the Kids Race, which begins at 6:45 AM, featuring a fun 1/2 mile loop that starts and ends at the 5K finish line. Don't forget to stick around for the GCR Freedom Swim at 10:30 AM at Lowdermilk Park! Best of all, proceeds from the event will support the Gulf Coast Runners Youth Development Fund. Mark your calendars for this unforgettable 4th of July celebration!

Celebrate the 4th of July by running, run/walking, or walking the Firecracker 5K! It is a double loop course through Lake Park. The race starts at 7 am.
PACKET PICK UP July 3, from 11am-2pm at Naples on the Run
Day of Packet Pick up starts at 5:30 am on Friday, July 4 in Fleischmann Park
Race Start is by the water treatment plant on 10th St. N (see course map below)
