Participants will traverse a lively course, including a route that takes you past iconic landmarks like Comerica Park, all while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow dog lovers and supporters of the Detroit Police Department. Every participant will receive a stylish t-shirt and a custom medal, while your four-legged friends will be sporting a special Heart Diggity Dog 5K bandana. Grab your furry, four-legged pal and join the Detroit Police Department and Detroit Medical Centers Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM) for the _Heart Diggity Dog 5K on October 3rd, 2026!_ Run, run/walk or walk through through Midtown and Downtown Detroit! Start from Brush Mall, next to RIM and the DMC Heart Hospital, 311 Mack Ave., Detroit, in between Beaubien and John R, head down Brush to Comerica Park, circle around the neighborhood and back up to Midtown. Participants receive a t-shirt and custom medal, and dogs get a Heart Diggity Dog 5K dog bandana. Have a fun, heart-healthy day with your furry friend downtown while supporting the Detroit Police Department!
