Series Description
Join the inaugural 2026 NWANA Open 20K Nordic Walking Series - six monthly virtual 20K events with cumulative season standings.
This virtual series consists of six monthly 20K Nordic Walking events from June through December 2026.
Participants complete one official 20K Nordic Walking effort during each monthly event, submit their result online, and participate in the season standings.
This is an official results-based series, not a flexible activity challenge. Official results must be completed as one continuous effort without rest breaks or stopped-time breaks.
Nordic Walking poles are required for official Nordic Walking results.
Result Verification
All official results are reviewed before approval.
NWANA may review tracker data, including GPX/FIT files, Garmin, Strava, or similar activity links, screenshots, elapsed time, moving time, distance, pace, route/activity data, and heart rate when available.
Results may be rejected or excluded from official standings if they show rest breaks, stopped-time breaks, incomplete or edited activity data, incorrect distance, unrealistic heart rate or pace data, or other concerns that make the result unverifiable or non-compliant.
