Get ready for an exciting season of racing at the 2026 Southwest Youth Mile Race Series! Kicking off on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, and continuing through September 23, 2026, this thrilling event takes place at Indian Trails Park in Fort Wayne, Allen. The series features three separate one-mile cross country races specifically designed for boys and girls in elementary school, making it a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to showcase their talent and compete for glory.
Races will be held on August 26, September 9, and September 23, with a schedule that includes races for 3rd graders and younger starting at 5:30 PM, followed by 4th and 5th graders. Each race will be professionally timed by Ruble Timing, ensuring accurate results for all participants. Not only will there be individual awards with trophies, medals, and ribbons for the top finishers, but teams will also have the chance to earn plaques based on overall scoring by grade and gender. Organiser's Description
The Southwest Youth Mile Race Series consists of three separate one mile cross country races open to all boys and girls of elementary school age. Races will be professionally chipped and timed by Ruble Timing. There will be individual awards AND team awards based on overall scoring by grade and gender.
Location: Indian Trails Park, in the field at the very back of the park
