Join us for the 24th Annual Irvington Turkey Trot & Animal Food Drive on Thursday, November 28th, 2024, in Irvington, Lancaster! This event supports the Animal Welfare League, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping animals in need. Participants can choose between a scenic 2-mile or 5-mile run/walk through historic Irvington neighborhoods, suitable for furry friends on leashes. Donations are greatly appreciated to provide Thanksgiving meals for the animals waiting for adoption. There will be no race day registration, so sign up early to secure your custom race T-shirt. Awards will be given to top finishers in various age groups. Families can also enjoy a free Tot Trot for children at the Irvington Commons. Come out, support a great cause, and start your Thanksgiving celebration with a fun and fulfilling event!

ABOUT THIS ACTIVITY
Please help us raise money to help the dogs and cats in our area by supporting the Animal Welfare League. Volunteers there have been serving the animals of Lancaster, Northumberland, Westmoreland, and Richmond Counties for over 48 years. They have animals ready for adoption that have been neutered, given some training, and are waiting for a home of their own.
Donations of $20, $25, $30, $50 are greatly appreciated! No donation is too small and all will help provide a Thanksgiving meal for them. Remember, the League always has several great pets just waiting to love you.

THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Scenic 2-mile & 5-mile run/walk loop through historic Irvington neighborhoods and suitable for your leashed, furry friends! A must-do event for families reuniting for the Thanksgiving holiday in Virginia's Northern Neck. Great community support and you are home by noon to enjoy your well-deserved Thanksgiving feast!
All 2-mile and 5-mile participants receive a custom race T-shirt while supplies last. Sign up early to get your beautiful and unique Race T.
Awards for both the 2-mile and 5-mile races are given to the top three male and female participants overall, and top three male and female participants in age groups: 8 and under, 9-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.
THERE WILL BE A FREE (NO-FEE) TOT TROT FOR THE CHILDREN AT THE IRVINGTON COMMONS. NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED. TOT TROT PARTICIPANTS DO NOT RECEIVE A RACE T.

If you want to participate in both the 2 Mile and the 5 Mile road race, sign up for the 2 & 5 Mile event below instead. The 2 Mile will start at 9:00 am and the 5 Mile will start at 10:00 am. Both races will be chip/tag timed. Early Packet pick up and late registration is from 1:00PM to 6:00 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 27th at the Irvington Baptist Church on King Carter Dr. Note: There will be NO Race Day Registration. Packet Pickup for both 2 Mile and 5 Mile events Opens at 8 AM and closes promptly at 8:45 AM on Race Day. -
