Join us for the 2nd Annual PPP3CA Rare Disease 5k Run/Walk on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the picturesque Lake Shawnee in Topeka, Kansas! This exciting event invites participants of all ages to either run a 5k or take part in a 1-mile walk, all while supporting a worthy cause. Last year, thanks to the incredible community support, we raised nearly $15,000 to fund vital research initiatives for the ultra-rare genetic disease PPP3CA, which affects children with severe epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disorders.
This year, we aim to surpass our previous achievement and fuel even more research and hope for families impacted by this condition. The event kicks off at 9 AM, so come out to enjoy a day filled with camaraderie, inspiration, and a shared commitment to making a difference. Your participation and donations will directly facilitate critical research efforts through the non-profit PPP3CA Hope Foundation. Together, we can race towards a cure! Please join the PPP3CA Hope Foundation in our 2nd Annual PPP3CA Rare Disease 5k Run/Walk campaign held at Lake Shawnee in Topeka, Kansas! Thanks to your amazing support last year, we raised nearly $15k and fully funded a research mouse model for PPP3CA. This year, we're aiming even higher, to drive more research, more hope, and more progress for our kids living with this disease.
Complete a 1 Mile Walk or a 5k Run/Walk while helping children with PPP3CA ultra rare genetic disease that causes neurodevelopmental disorders and severe epilepsy.
