Event summary
Participants can pick up their race packets on Friday, October 10th, or on race day from 8:00 to 8:30 AM. With a limit of 50 participants per gender per age group, this event is sure to be a memorable experience for all involved. Each finisher will receive a commemorative award, and top runners will be recognized in various categories. Proceeds from this event benefit the Lynchburg Road Runners Club, promoting community health and wellness through running. So lace up your sneakers and join us for a fantastic day of running and camaraderie in honor of Dr. Stephenson's legacy!

PACKET PICK UP:
Fri. Oct. 10th at Riverside Runners (2480 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24503), 12-6PM
Sat. Oct. 11th (RACE DAY) 8-8:30AM, Riverside Park.
ENTRY LIMIT:
50 participants per gender per age group.
T-SHIRTS:
T-shirts are available for an additional charge of $10.00 to those registered by _MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2025_. After this date, shirts will not be available to order.
RACE DISTANCES & AGE GROUPS:
3 & under 1/8th mile,
4-5 yrs old 1/4 mile,
6-7 yrs. old 1/2 mile,
8-13 yrs. old 1 mile.
All events take place at Riverside Park, Rivermont Ave., Lynchburg, Virginia. Proceeds benefit the Lynchburg Road Runners Club a 501c3 non-profit whose mission remains to promote community health and wellness through the sport of running.
COURSES:
Gently rolling courses (closed to traffic) winding through historic, Riverside Park (2270 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24503).
LYNCHBURG ROAD RUNNERS CLUB MEMBER DISCOUNT:
A $1.00 discount is available to current Lynchburg Road Runners Club members. Discounts will not be given after Monday September 30th. Participant membership must be current with the LRRC membership roster found on RunSignUp on race day. Discount will be given at checkout automatically. Refunds and discounts will not be given after completing online race registration.
AWARDS:
All Finishers receive a commemorative "FINISHER AWARD"
Top 3 overall boys and girls for the 1 mile distance (all races combined) and the top 3 boys and girls in each race.
AGE GROUPS: (boys & girls): 3-under (1/8 mi); 4-5 (1/4 mi); 6-7 (1/2 mi); 8-9 (1 mi); 10-11 (1 mi); 12-13 (1 mi)
PARKING: Riverside Park, closed to ALL vehicular traffic (9AM to 10:45AM). Please park on Rivermont Ave.
