Taking place on Friday, July 4, 2025, in the charming town of Covington, St. Tammany, this super fun 4-mile run/walk is the perfect way to kick off your holiday festivities. Participants are encouraged to don their best red, white, and blue attire as they join in the spirit of America's birthday. The main race will begin promptly at 7:30 AM, followed by a special Kids Race at 8:30 AM, making it a perfect family-friendly event.
With a limited capacity of 400 participants, early registration is a must to secure your spot in this vibrant community celebration. Enjoy post-race treats, ice-cold beverages, and some fun activities, including the popular Beer Mile! Plus, your participation supports local youth sports and activities through the YMCA. Super fun 4 mile run / walk on the 4th of July. Come out and celebrate America's birthday. Wear your best red, white & blue. The running and walking for the 4 Miler [https://www.run4onthe4th.com/Race/4onthe4th2021/Page/four-mile-race] starts promptly at 7:30 am. The Kids Race [https://www.run4onthe4th.com/Race/4onthe4th2021/Page/kids-race] starts at 8:30 am. Once your registration is complete, please go to the Donation Page [https://www.run4onthe4th.com/Race/Donate/LA/Covington/4onthe4th2021] and select the amount of your donation. Remember all of the race proceeds go right back into our community! We're committed to supporting youth sports and activities directly through our local YMCA.
