Get ready for a day filled with community spirit and purpose at the 5th Annual Kickin It For Katy 5K Run and 1.2 Mile Walk on Saturday, April 25th, 2026! Set in the picturesque Fairmont State University campus in Fairmont, West Virginia, this inspiring event is dedicated to raising suicide awareness and honors the legacy of Katy.

Join us bright and early with registration starting at 9 AM for the 5K run, followed by the walk at 10 AM, and let the festivities begin with "Katy Fest" opening at 10:02 AM. This family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels to run, walk, or simply come together in support of this vital cause. In addition to the race, attendees can enjoy a vibrant festival featuring live music, awareness tables covering important topics like suicide prevention and addiction, a National Guard pull-up contest, food trucks, a huge basket raffle, face painting, a dunk tank (weather permitting), games, and much more!
