Get ready for a fun-filled day at the first annual 5K For K9s on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Lake St. Clair Metropark in Harrison Township, Macomb! This exciting event invites participants of all ages, including our beloved canine companions, to join in a spirited 5K race that promises to be a delightful experience for both runners and their furry friends.
Check-in begins bright and early at 7:30 AM at the Activity Center, with the race kicking off at 9 AM. All participants will receive a participation medal, and there will be additional awards for the top two finishers in each age group, as well as overall winners. The scenic 5K route features a combination of paved road and bike paths, allowing you to soak in the beautiful surroundings while supporting a great cause. ALL PARTICIPANTS (INCLUDING DOGS) WILL RECEIVE A PARTICIPATION MEDAL. ADDITIONAL AWARDS WILL BE HANDED OUT TO FOR THOSE PLACING IN THE TOP 2 FOR EACH AGE GROUP AS WELL AS OVERALL WINNERS.
