Join us for the 5th Annual Honor and Remember Run on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in beautiful Velpen, Pike! This exciting family-friendly event features both a 5K and a 10K Trail & Ruck Run, designed to pay tribute to our military veterans, their families, emergency personnel, and all those who lost their lives on 9/11 and the wars that followed. Participants are encouraged to engage in a meaningful challenge with two sets of 22 honor pushups/pullups, raising awareness for the critical issue of veteran suicide.
Gather your friends and family for a day filled with camaraderie and community spirit while supporting the Fire Departments of Huntingburg and Jasper, IN, with all proceeds from the event. On Saturday, August 9, 2025, OFS is hosting its 5th Annual Honor and Remember Run. The family-friendly 5K and 10K Trail & Ruck Run was created in honor of military veterans, their families, emergency personnel, and all who died on 9/11 and the wars following that fateful day. Ruck Runners are encouraged to participate in 2 sets of 22 honor pushups/pullups to help bring awareness to the fact that 22 veterans commit suicide every day. All proceeds will be donated to the Fire Departments of Huntingburg, IN and Jasper, IN, furthering their commitment to keep our communities safe and honoring those fallen. Please join us in honoring these brave men and women.
