Join us for the 61st Annual Asbury Park Polar Bear Races on Saturday, December 28, 2024, in the vibrant seaside town of Asbury Park, Monmouth! This festive event promises a day filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit as runners and walkers of all ages participate in exciting races. The schedule kicks off with bib and T-shirt pickup at 8:30 AM, followed by the 1 Mile Run at 9:30 AM and the popular 5K Run & Walk at 10:00 AM.
This year's 5K course features a scenic route that takes participants out to Bradley Beach before heading back to finish at the iconic Convention Hall in Asbury Park. With registration fees starting at just $35, early birds will have the chance to secure their spot and pick up their bibs the day before at The Outpost Running & Walking Co. Participants can look forward to commemorative T-shirts for the first 500 registrants, awards for top finishers, and medals for all mile finishers. Plus, this event supports a great cause—proceeds help Interfaith Neighbors provide healthy meals for local families in need. Don’t miss out on this exhilarating winter tradition!

THE COURSE IS NARROW AS YOU LEAVE ASBURY PARK AND FOR A SECTION ON THE BRADLEY BEACH BOARDWALK, SO WE ASK EVERYONE TO STAY TO STAY ALERT AND STAY TO YOUR RIGHT GOING OUT AND COMING BACK ON THE COURSE.

MEDALS WILL BE PROVIDED TO ALL FINISHERS IN THE MILE, AND THE TOP BOYS AND GIRLS FINISHERS WILL RECEIVE A SPECIAL AWARD.
