Get ready for an exhilarating experience at the 62nd Annual Asbury Park Polar Bear Races on Saturday, December 27, 2025! This beloved community event will take place in the scenic Asbury Park, Monmouth, featuring both a 1-mile run and a challenging 5K run and walk. Kick off the day with early bib pickup on December 26, and then join fellow runners for the 1-mile race at 9:30 AM, followed by the 5K at 10:00 AM.
Participants will enjoy a new race course that takes them along the beautiful Bradley Beach, returning to finish at the iconic Convention Hall. With a focus on community, the Polar Bear Races support Interfaith Neighbors, helping families access healthy meals while also supporting local farmers. Don’t miss your chance to grab a commemorative T-shirt, with awards for top finishers and age group categories, plus special recognition for the fastest boys and girls in the mile. Join us for a festive celebration of health and community spirit!

THE 5K COURSE WILL NOW GO OUT ONCE 1.55 MILES AND TURNAROUND IN BRADLEY BEACH TO THEN HEAD BACK TO CONVENTION HALL TO FINISH IN ASBURY PARK. WE WILL USE THE SAME COURSE AS WAS USED IN 2024. THE COURSE IS NARROW AS YOU LEAVE ASBURY PARK AND FOR A SECTION ON THE BRADLEY BEACH BOARDWALK, SO WE ASK EVERYONE TO STAY TO STAY ALERT AND STAY TO YOUR RIGHT GOING OUT AND COMING BACK ON THE COURSE.

AGE GROUP AWARDS GROUPED BY 5 YEARS.
MEDALS WILL BE PROVIDED TO ALL FINISHERS IN THE MILE, AND THE TOP BOYS AND GIRLS FINISHERS WILL RECEIVE A SPECIAL AWARD.
