THE SUMMER TWILIGHT 5K IS BACK!

The 6TH ANNUAL RUN MOREHEAD 5K will be on FRIDAY, JULY 3, 2026!
RACE TIME- 6 p.m.
DAY OF PACKET PICKUP- 4:30-5:45 p.m.
LOCATION- Rowan County Arts Center
DAY BEFORE PACKET PICKUP- Thursday, July 2nd - 5-7 P.M. at MOREHEAD POLICE DEPARTMENT 309. West Main St. across from Walgreens

After a glowing success in past years, were lighting up the the night once again!
This isnt just a race- its a party with a purpose. ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT SHOP WITH A COP, a heartwarming program where our local officers take children shopping for holiday gifts.

Walkers are welcomed as are strollers and dogs on fixed length leashes. Music, food, and other festivities will be set up at the start/finish.
Shirts will be long-sleeved sizes S- 3X. If you need another size please check with us for the possibility.

Enjoy a run, walk, or stroll through Morehead as a part of the city initiative to keep people moving. The event will kick off at the Rowan County Art Center.

PACKET PICKUP: We will hold an advanced day Packet Pickup on Thursday, July 2nd from 5-7pm at the MOREHEAD POLICE DEPARTMENT (ADDRESS: 309 W. Main St. Morehead, KY 40351, Across the street from Walgreens). Picking up for family/friends is encouraged with no credentials, paperwork or ID's necessary. We will also have race evening PPU at the Rowan County Arts Center from 4:45-5:45pm.
