Event summary
Participants will have the opportunity to compete in either the half marathon or the 5K, with medals awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age division. Every finisher will also take home a unique race pint glass, and long-sleeve shirts will be available based on availability, so sign up early! Join the community spirit as proceeds from this event will support scholarships for aspiring male and female runners, alongside funding projects for the Mahaska County Sheriff's Reserves. Organiser's Description
The Mahaska County Sheriff's Reserves will be hosting our third Pot of Gold Shared Half Marathon and 5K. Proceeds go towards a scholarship for a male and female runner, and the rest of the funds will go to support other reserve funding projects for Mahaska County.
We will give medals to the top 3 individuals Male and Female in each age division in the half marathon and 5k. All finishers will receive a race pint glass. Long sleeves will be handed out based on availability, so please make sure that we have you signed up because we will need to get shirt orders in by Mid-February!!!
Packet Pick-Up will be at the Emergency Management Agency Building 6-8 p.m. on March 28th. Also, you will be able to pick-up packets at 7:30 a.m. for half marathon and 8:00 for the 5k on March 29th if needed at the start line at Lacey Complex.
