The schedule includes a moving ceremony with a Color Guard presentation by local Boy Scout troops, the National Anthem sung by Pastor Paul McReynolds, and a keynote speech by Army Veteran Pam Robb. Attendees can also engage in meaningful activities like writing notes from home, creating poppy flowers, and signing a remembrance board. Enjoy the beautiful sounds of the Nittany Knights Barbershop Chorus, and witness the poignant TAPS performance followed by a 21-gun salute by the Bellefonte VFW. A Soldiers Hands is a non-profit partner of Carry The Load (CTL). CTL provides active ways to honor and remember our nations heroes by connecting Americans to the importance of Memorial Day. Join us as we honor and acknowledge those who lost their lives while defending our country. Walk if able or bring a chair and listen. Together, let's share stories and say their names.
