Join us for "A Walk to Remember our Fallen" on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in the scenic town of Boalsburg, Centre County. This heartfelt event, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Military Museum and A Soldier's Hands, invites participants to honor and remember the brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Whether you choose to walk the commemorative 5K courseβ€”comprising six laps around the museum groundsβ€”or simply take a seat and listen, your presence matters.

The day begins at 9 A.M. with a Color Guard presentation by local Boy Scout troops, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and an inspiring keynote speech by Debra Burger, who will share her poignant story of loss during the Vietnam War. Attendees can also engage in special activities, including writing "notes from home," creating poppy flowers, and signing a remembrance board. The Nittany Knights Barbershop Chorus will fill the air with patriotic songs, and a moving TAPS performance will conclude the ceremony.
