The festivities kick off at 7:30 AM, with check-in starting at 6:30 AM and the program beginning promptly at 7:00 AM. Celebrate health, community, and sustainability while enjoying awards and raffles from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. CASA FAMILIARS 2025 ABRAZO 5K WALK + 10K RUN: SEEDING OUR FUTURE / SEMBRANDO NUESTRO FUTURO
A key factor to enhancing quality of life means tackling the critical climate challenges that our community faces. Casa is getting ready to launch the La Semilla Community Resiliency Center, a learning space for residents to engage in ways to mitigate air pollution, extreme heat, drought, energy use, and other climate risks. Participants will also engage in e-shared mobility projects, water & energy conservation learning, and smart sustainable building and upgrades to their homes.
Your support in participating this year at Abrazo 2025 will help us continue to seed a healthier and more sustainable future.
THE ABRAZO 5K WALK + 10K RUN is a course that will take participants along the San Ysidro-Tijuana border on SATURDAY, MAY 3, 2025 FROM 7:30AM TO 11:00AM. CHECK-IN STARTS AT 6:30AM AND THE PROGRAM WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 7:00AM.
We strongly recommend taking advantage of our EARLY REGISTRATION PACKAGE PICK-UP on THURSDAY, MAY 1ST 2025, between 4PM - 8PM. Enjoy a delicious brew and pick-up your registration package from one of the following local favorites:
