For those who prefer, virtual participation is available anytime and anywhere throughout October. Registration is essential, but it’s free for children aged 11 and under. Whether you choose to run with an empty stroller in memory of a loved one or simply walk to show your support, this event promises to foster community, raise awareness, and provide vital assistance to families in need. Participants will choose whether to walk 1-mile or walk a 5K. 5K and 10K race participants are invited to join the walk following their run at no additional cost. Make sure to stay for our post-run/walk event with live music, food trucks, giveaways, and so much fun. All registration fees, swag sales, and donations will be used to assist families who have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy, infancy, or early childhood. The Adalyn Rose Foundation helps families immediately in the hospital and all the following moments. We assist with burial and cremation costs, send customized care packages, and host events, couples workshops, and support groups for bereaved families. Many of us will be running/walking with empty strollers to honor babies and spread awareness of pregnancy and infant loss. However, it is not a requirement of this event.
