Join us for the heartfelt 2024 Empty Stroller Run & Walk hosted by the Adalyn Rose Foundation on Sunday, October 27th, 2024, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, along the beautiful Lackawanna River Heritage Trail at the Olive Street Trailhead. This annual event, now in its fifth year, invites loss families and supporters to come together in a meaningful way to honor babies and provide essential support for families who have experienced the loss of a child during pregnancy, infancy, or early childhood. Participants can choose to take part in a 5K or 10K run or walk, either in-person at our Scranton location or virtually from anywhere between October 1st and October 31st.
Whether you're pushing an empty stroller to raise awareness of pregnancy and infant loss or simply walking alongside friends and family, your participation matters. Registration is required, but children aged 11 and under can join for free! Last year, we raised over $100,000 to help families in need, and with your support, we can surpass that goal. ALL REGISTRATION FEES, SWAG SALES, AND DONATIONS WILL ASSIST FAMILIES WHO HAVE LOST A BABY AT ANY TIME DURING PREGNANCY, INFANCY, OR EARLY CHILDHOOD. THE ADALYN ROSE FOUNDATION IS THERE FROM THE VERY FIRST MOMENTS IN THE HOSPITAL AND ALL THOSE THAT FOLLOW.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS. THIS EVENT IS FREE FOR CHILDREN 11 AND UNDER AND WILL SHOW NO FEE FOR THIS AGE GROUP AT CHECKOUT.
MANY OF US WILL BE RUNNING/WALKING WITH EMPTY STROLLERS TO HONOR BABIES AND SPREAD AWARENESS OF PREGNANCY AND INFANT LOSS. HOWEVER, IT IS NOT REQUIRED.
WHETHER PARTICIPATING IN PERSON OR VIRTUALLY, WE ENCOURAGE LOSS FAMILIES AND SUPPORTERS TO CREATE A TEAM AND INVITE FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS TO JOIN!
