Join the Adalyn Rose Foundation for their 2024 Empty Stroller Run & Walk on October 27th in Reading, Berks. This event aims to support families who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss, with proceeds going towards assisting these families. Participants can choose to run a 5K, 10K, or walk either in-person at the Berks County Heritage Center or at a satellite location in Scranton, PA, or virtually between October 1st and 31st. Registration is required, with children 11 and under participating for free. Participants are encouraged to create teams and fundraisers to help raise money for this important cause. Last year, over $100,000 was raised, and the goal is to support even more families this year. Whether you run with an empty stroller or not, this event is a meaningful way to honor babies and raise awareness of pregnancy and infant loss.

VIRTUALLY BETWEEN OCTOBER 1ST AND OCTOBER 31ST, 2024 ANYWHERE, ANYTIME!
ALL REGISTRATION FEES, SWAG SALES, AND DONATIONS WILL ASSIST FAMILIES WHO HAVE LOST A BABY AT ANY TIME DURING PREGNANCY, INFANCY, OR EARLY CHILDHOOD. THE ADALYN ROSE FOUNDATION IS THERE FROM THE VERY FIRST MOMENTS IN THE HOSPITAL AND ALL THOSE THAT FOLLOW.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS. THIS EVENT IS FREE FOR CHILDREN 11 AND UNDER AND WILL SHOW NO FEE FOR THIS AGE GROUP AT CHECKOUT.
MANY OF US WILL BE RUNNING/WALKING WITH EMPTY STROLLERS TO HONOR BABIES AND SPREAD AWARENESS OF PREGNANCY AND INFANT LOSS. HOWEVER, IT IS NOT REQUIRED.
WHETHER PARTICIPATING IN PERSON OR VIRTUALLY, WE ENCOURAGE LOSS FAMILIES AND SUPPORTERS TO CREATE A TEAM AND INVITE FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS TO JOIN! IN ADDITION TO CREATING A TEAM, THERE ARE OPTIONS TO CREATE INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM FUNDRAISERS! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN WITH THIS LAST YEAR; WE RAISED OVER $100,000 TOGETHER. Participants will choose whether to walk 1-mile or walk a 5K. 5K and 10K race participants are invited to join the walk following their run at no additional cost. Make sure to stay for our post-run/walk event with live music, food trucks, giveaways, and so much fun.
