Event summary
Join us for the exciting Aggie Elementary Track Meet on Thursday, May 28, 2026, in Dansville, Ingham! This vibrant event invites all 1st to 5th graders from any school or homeschool to experience the thrill of their very own track meet. Young athletes will have the chance to compete in up to three events against their peers, with races including distances like 100m, 400m, 800m, and more. Don’t worry if your child is new to track; the emphasis is on fun rather than times, ensuring a positive and encouraging atmosphere for everyone.
Boys will kick off the races in 2026, just like a real school meet, and medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each grade and event. All participants will enjoy a slice of pizza post-race, and parents are encouraged to join in the festivities by helping keep time and cheering on the young athletes. Advance registration allows free entry for parents and spectators, so come out and support the future stars of track and field while making unforgettable memories!

Organiser's Description
A fun opportunity for any 1st-5th graders from any school or homeschool to experience their own track meet! Youth will run against their own grades in up to 3 events. You do not have to enter 3 events, 1 or 2 may be best for younger kids

Concessions available
all athletes receive a piece of pizza.
This event is not timed. Parents will be involved with keeping times and joining in on the fun. Next year we may make it an official timed meet if we have a large enough turn out, so please come and join in the fun!

After registration, please email patonj@dansville.org with what events your son or daughter would like to enter. Choose 4 of the following events 70,100,200,400,800,1600. Girls compete against girls, boys against boys, 800 and 1600 they may run together depending on numbers.
