Join us for the exciting Aggie Elementary Track Meet on Thursday, May 28th, 2026, in Dansville, Ingham! This vibrant event invites all 1st to 5th graders, whether from schools or homeschool backgrounds, to participate in their very own track meet experience. Young athletes will have the chance to compete in up to three fun events, including the 100m, 400m, 800m, and more, running alongside their peers in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere.
With an emphasis on enjoyment over competition, medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each grade for every event, ensuring that every participant leaves feeling like a winner! Parents are encouraged to get involved, helping with timing and cheering on the young athletes. While this year’s meet is non-timed, there's potential for it to evolve into an official timed event in the future – so don’t miss out on the fun! Registration is required in advance, and entry for parents and spectators is free. Come join us for a day full of excitement, community spirit, and athletic achievement!

Organiser's Description
A fun opportunity for any 1st-5th graders from any school or homeschool to experience their own track meet! Youth will run against their own grades in up to 3 events. You do not have to enter 3 events, 1 or 2 may be best for younger kids
Boys run first in 2026, just like a real school meet. Emphasis is on fun, not time, with a medal awarded to 1st-3rd in each grade, each event!
Concessions available
This event is non timed. Parents will be involved with keeping times and joining in on the fun. Next year we may make it an official timed meet if we have a large enough turn out, so please come and join in the fun!

After registration, please email patonj@dansville.org with what events your son or daughter would like to enter. Choose 4 of the following events 70,100,200,400,800,1600. Girls compete against girls, boys against boys, 800 and 1600 they may run together depending on numbers.
