Get ready for an exciting day of fitness and fun at the Almont Heritage Festival on Sunday, September 20th, 2026! Located in the charming town of Almont, Lapeer, this vibrant event celebrates community spirit with a series of races designed for everyone. Participants can choose from a 5K run/walk, a challenging 10K run, or let the little ones join in the excitement with a fun run for kids. The festivities kick off at 8 AM with day-of check-in and registration at the Entertainment Tent in downtown Almont.
The Kids Fun Run starts at 9 AM, followed by the 10K at 9:15 AM and the 5K at 9:25 AM. Runners can look forward to post-race refreshments, including water, bananas, and delicious donuts to refuel after the race. Every finisher will be rewarded with a medal, and participants in the adult 5K and 10K will receive exclusive event swag items. Plus, there will be awards for the top finishers in both the 5K and 10K categories. Join us for a day filled with health, happiness, and community pride at the Almont Heritage Festival!
