This exciting event kicks off with a rolling start from 7:55 AM to 8:05 AM for both distances, followed by a fun 1-mile run starting at 8:06 AM. Runners will enjoy a picturesque route along the Santa Ana River Trail, a beautifully landscaped paved path that showcases views of the iconic Angels Stadium.
Participants can look forward to an exhilarating atmosphere with festive touches, including themed turkey shirts, custom finisher medals, and delicious street tacos and tamales waiting at the finish line. Registration opens at 7 AM, and both early packet pickup and race-day registration will be available. _To accommodate this size event on the paved River Trail :__ Rolling Start 7:55am to 8:05am for 5k/10k/ 8:06 1 mile start. All 5k/10k Must cross the start mats by 8:05am. Elite and fast runners plan to go off in the first wave at 7:55am. . A "COOL" warm up begins at 7:50am! __Course time starts when you step under the START ARCH and on the start mats. Wear Bib on Front. _
EARLY PRE PACKET PICK UP AT NEW LOCATION: GOLDEN ROAD BREWERY FROM 2 TO 4 PM. SATURDAY, NOV 23, 2024
Golden Road: 2210 E. Orangewood Ave, Anaheim, Ca 92806 Get your parking passes at Packet pick up, or if getting your bib and shirt on race day, pay online and take a picture of the pass and have on your phone on race day.
RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP ALSO AVAILABLE: Shirts and bibs available at registration booth on ramp to START/FINISH .
Race day Registration begins at 7am. Walk up registration welcome.
_The COURSE is on Anaheim Santa River paved, multi-purpose path. Start /Finish just south of Katella across from the Honda Center east of Jt Schmid's._
_PARKING is available at JT SCHMID'S BREWERY LOT adjacent to Transit Center. Enter into the front parking off of Katella and the gate arm raises. Only 150 spaces at this lot. Only carpool cars that have two are more in the vehicle are to park in this lot. Need proof of an event parking pass. Info will be emailed. _
_ANGEL'S STADIUM BACKLOT PARKING: FASTER and EASIER access. PARKING has been secured just for this race at the backlot of ANGEL's Stadium. Enter in on DOUGLAS WAY off of KATELLA. Take a right at the light at the corner of Jt Schmid's. Enter Angel's Stadium behind the Transit Center. There is access entrances to the SANTA ANA RIVER TRAIL path at LOT B of the transit center. Park, then walk or jog down to the race start in front of the transit center. You can drop off and then park . They are requesting that we give entrants parking passes to just have on dash or a photo on the phone when you enter. $6 for parking. Click as an add on or pay zelle [email protected] or venmo: caren-Ware-1. No cash. You will need proof of an event parking pass. Info will be emailed. Take a picture of it. _

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:
7am to 8am - Registration opens (Walk up LATE Registration available on race day , plus PRE REG BIB & Shirt Pick Up.)
7:55am to 8:05. ROLLING START. Start of the 5k/10k & 1 Mile Fun Run can take place during this time. MAKE SURE you have the PROPER BIB on for your race distance or you will be incorrectly scored and deque. Wear that bib pinned to the front and visible.
* You will be running on the SANTA ANA RIVER BED TRAIL. It is a picturesque, newly landscaped paved path and you will have views of the BIG A at Angeles Stadium as you run by. You will be sharing the path with cyclist, other runners, and dog walkers. This is a public pathway that you are 'exercising" your right to run on. We will time you at the start and finish spot off of Katella. You are responsible for your use of the public path. This pathway entrance is located right east of t JT SCHMID's . REMAIN ON THE SIDEWALKs not the roads to get to the entrance. Be aware of traffic of others.

9:15 am 10K awards available for pick up.
PARKING: Enter into Jt Schmidt's AND the BACKLOT of Angel's Stadium. Do not park at the Transit Center. That is for public using the metro and buses.
The gate arm raises at Jt Scmidt's for our race participants. CARPOOL as to lessen the number of parking slots used. If the parking lot has a FULL sign when you arrive Drop off participants on Douglas Way in front of the transit building, and park down Douglas Way into the back entrance of Angel's Stadium and trot down to the event start.
Remember to WRITE on your race BIB what you are THANKFUL for!
