For the little ones, there’s a special 1-mile Trick or Trot Candy Hunt designed for kids aged 12 and under, where they can collect goodies at designated stations along the course. Parents are encouraged to join in the fun without needing to register. All registered participants of the 5K will receive exclusive giveaways, swag bags, and the chance to win fantastic prizes. Plus, your participation helps support the Apex Foundation in its mission to enhance community recreation. Don't miss this enchanting celebration of fitness and fun!

Voted Best of the Best in Arvada for Non Profit Events by Colorado Community Media! Join the Apex Foundation for the 5th Annual Trick or Trot 5K! Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are all welcome to join us for this Halloween celebration. Dress in your Halloween best for a chance to win prizes for the costume contest.
There will be a separate 1-mile Trick or Trot Candy Hunt for kids 12 & under. Kids can grab candy at our designated trick or trot stations along the 1-mile course. Participants will need to register for this event specifically, as it is separate from the 5K race. One parent/guardian is encouraged to join but does not need to register. COURSE GIVEAWAYS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS ONLY.

Refund Policy: This event is held rain, snow, or shine. Registrations are non-refundable. In the event the State or local health department issues a mandatory Stay at Home order or mandates the closure of races and/or facilities, participant(s) of this race will adjust to a virtual format. Refunds will NOT be issued. -
