Join us for the Arcadia-DeSoto County Habitat for Humanity 11th Annual Turkey Trot 5K on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 in Arcadia, Desoto. Take part in a fun morning run or walk through the stunning Morgan Park, near downtown Arcadia, FL. The course features a mix of paved and unpaved surfaces, winding through trees and along the picturesque Peace River. Awards will be given in various age groups, with entry fees starting at $30 before November 8th and increasing to $35 afterwards. Groups of 6 or more can register for $15 per person. Same day registration will be limited, and t-shirts are guaranteed to those who register before November 8th. By supporting this event, you are also supporting local charitable efforts through the Arcadia-DeSoto County Habitat for Humanity, focused on eliminating substandard housing and aiding in disaster repairs post-Hurricane Ian in 2022. ENJOY A FUN SATURDAY MORNING RUN OR WALK THROUGH BEAUTIFUL MORGAN PARK, NEAR DOWNTOWN ARCADIA, FL. THE COURSE CONSISTS OF BOTH PAVED AND UNPAVED SURFACES AND MEANDERS THROUGH THE TREES AND ALONG THE GORGEOUS PEACE RIVER. WE ARE THRILLED TO BE ABLE TO RETURN THIS YEAR TO THIS AWESOME VENUE.
AWARDS GIVEN IN 5-YEAR AGE GROUPS FROM 14-19 AND UP, AS WELL AS 9 & UNDER AND 10-13.
ENTRY FEE: NOW THROUGH NOVEMBER 8TH: $30. NOVEMBER 9TH AND BEYOND: $35. GROUP: $15 PER PERSON T-SHIRT NOT INCLUDED - MINIMUM GROUP SIZE 6
SAME DAY REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ON A LIMITED BASIS.
THE ENTIRE EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE OUTDOORS WITH THE AWARDS PRESENTATION AT THE MORGAN PARK PAVILION.
