Join us for the 4th Annual Turtle Trot Trail Race on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in the picturesque Holiday, Pasco! This exciting event offers both 10k and 5k race distances, perfect for runners and walkers of all skill levels. The scenic course begins and ends at Anclote Gulf Park, taking participants on a beautiful journey down the Coastal Anclote Trail, through the enchanting trails of Key Vista Nature Park, and over boardwalks that provide stunning views of the Gulf. With 70% of the trails paved and 30% dedicated to hiking, itโs an ideal setting to enjoy nature while staying active.
Packet pickup kicks off on race day at 6:45 AM, followed by a pre-race meeting at 7:50 AM. Not only will you be part of an invigorating race, but your participation also supports a great cause! Proceeds from the Turtle Trot benefit the Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Adaptive and Inclusive Programming (PAIR), which aims to enrich the lives of individuals of all abilities. The Turtle Trot 10k & 5k course begins and ends in Anclote Gulf Park and will take participants down the Coastal Anclote Trail, through the trails in Key Vista Nature Park, and over boardwalks that offer a view of the Gulf. It has 70% paved trails and boardwalks and 30% hiking trails. Participants may run or walk any distance.
Packet Pickup is on Saturday morning from 6:45 am to 7:45 am. A pre-race meeting for both events will begin at 7:50 am.
Proceeds of this event will go to the Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Adaptive and Inclusive Programming (PAIR). The PAIR program's mission is to enrich the lives of our diverse community by offering inclusive and adaptive programming within our county parks and recreation system ensuring individuals of all abilities have access to recreational opportunities, fostering a sense of belonging, empowerment, and well-being for everyone.
The 4th Annual Turtle Trot is in loving memory of Angela Fagan, Program Manager - Community and Outreach at Pasco County Parks Recreation and Natural Resources Department, whose life was cut short due to complications of the COVID-19 virus.
