Join us for the exhilarating 13th Annual Arctic 5K Trail Race on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the stunning Hydaway Outdoor Center in Lynchburg, Campbell. This highly anticipated event is the fourth race in the Liberty Mountain Trail Series and promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for runners of all levels. The 3.1-mile course features a thrilling mix of single track trails and forest roads, providing both a challenge and a scenic backdrop as you navigate the twists and turns of the course.
Get ready to kick off your race day at 9 A.M. with packet pickup available on February 6 from Noon to 6 P.M. at LaHaye Rotunda, and on race day from 8 to 8:45 A.M. at Hydaway. Participants will receive a guaranteed event t-shirt if registered by January 23, and there are plenty of awards to be won, including prizes for the top three male and female finishers, age group winners, and even door prizes throughout the event. Plus, if you complete all five races in the Liberty Mountain Trail Series, you'll earn a special finisher award! Campus Recreation is proud to present the 13th Annual Arctic 5K Trail Race hosted at Hydaway Outdoor Center on Saturday, February 7, 2026. The Arctic 5K Trail Race is the 4th trail race in the Liberty Mountain Trail Series. The course is comprised of single track trail intermixed with some forest roads. This 5k is a great challenge and sure to be full of _ice, sweat and tears._

AWARDS | Awards will be given to the top 3 male & female overall winners, top 3 male & female in each age group, and top male & female masters (>40 years of age) overall winners. Overall awards will be ranked by gun time, age group awards will be ranked on chip time.
Door prizes will also be given out throughout the event.
*LMTS FINISHER AWARDS | Awards will be given to all runners who participate in all 5 LMTS 2025-2026 races in April 2026 (Deep Hollow, Valley View, Reindeer Run, Arctic 5k, King of the Mountain).
