With race distances tailored for various age groups, participants can look forward to a .25-yard swim, .53-mile bike ride, and .30-mile run for the youngest competitors, while older age groups will tackle longer distances, including a 150-yard swim and a 2.12-mile bike ride. As a USAT sanctioned event, each participant will receive insurance coverage during the race, and they will have the opportunity to earn national rankings. Join us at the Arizona - Swim, Bike, Run Youth Triathlon.
The swim takes place at the Litchfield Park recreation center pool. The bike portion takes place along a community path and along Old Litchfield Rd and the run runs long Old Litchfield Rd and around the Tierra Verde Lake Park.
THIS IS A USAT SANCTIONED EVENT.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE A USAT MEMBER OR PURCHASE A ONE DAY MEMBERSHIP.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A USAT SACTIONED EVENT? IT MEANS THAT USA TRIATHLON PROVIDES INSURANCE TO THE EVENT SO IT CAN TAKE PLACE. USAT WILL ALSO COVERS EACH INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANT IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT DURING THE EVENT. ADDITIONAL BENEFITS ARE THE ALL-RACE RESULTS ARE REPORTED TO USAT AND EACH PARTICIPANT GETS NATIONAL RANKINGS.
