In honor of all types of heroes supporting the lives and safety of children, Safe Harbor Children's Advocacy Center is hosting our 7th annual Badges and Bravery 5k. Enjoy the 5k course through Allegan or the Kids Fun Run. We encourage everyone to dress up at their favorite hero! Community friendly event.
After the race, please join us for refreshments and delicious food. Family fun for all ages!
Sign up now for Safe Harbor's Badges and Bravery 5k! Your registration includes sign up fee and a finishing medal. Each finishing medal is unique as they are individually designed by children participating in therapy at Safe Harbor. Shirts are available for purchase.
Onsite registrations are welcome on race day, but shirts are not guaranteed. Online Registration closes at 11:59pm on 08/02/2025.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. on the day of the race.
All proceeds from the event will provide a lifeline to victims of child abuse and neglect. If you sign up to run after 12pm (noon) on 07/02/2025, we cannot guarantee shirt size availability.

Runners will start the race at 9:00am and run a 5K route around Allegan. There is a staggered start to prevent runners and walkers from colliding. This is a very community friendly event. T-Shirts are not included. -
Badges and Bravery Kids Fun Run

This is a half mile run for kids 12 and under to run with law enforcement and first responders. Kids are encouraged to dress as their favorite hero! T-Shirts are not included.
