Our 9th annual Badges and Bravery 5k! Enjoy the 5k course through the Allegan Sports Complex or the 1/2 Mile Kids' Fun Run. We encourage everyone to dress up at their favorite hero! Community friendly event.

Your registration includes sign-up fee and a finishing medal, individually designed by children participating in therapy at Safe Harbor. Shirts are available for purchase for $15.
Onsite registrations are welcome on race day, but shirts are not guaranteed. Online Registration closes at 11:59pm on 7/31/2026.
In-person registration starts at 8 a.m. on the day of the race for the 5k.
All proceeds from the event will provide a lifeline to victims of child abuse and neglect. If you sign up to run after 12pm (noon) on 07/15/2025, we cannot guarantee shirt size availability.

Runners will start the race at 9:00am and run a 5K route around the Allegan Sports Complex. There will be no crossing into traffic on this current route! This is a very community friendly event. T-Shirts are not included, but can be purchased for $15. -
Badges and Bravery Kids Fun Run

This is a half mile run for kids 12 and under to run with law enforcement and first responders. Kids are encouraged to dress as their favorite hero! Every kid who registers will be entered into a drawing to win a free bike! T-Shirts are not included, but can be ordered during registration.
