Join us for the exciting second annual Be a SHEro 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Kokomo, Howard County! This empowering event is designed exclusively for women, celebrating International Women's Day while encouraging healthy activity within our community. Participants will enjoy a chip-timed 5K run or walk, with a special addition this year – the Little SHEro Sprint! Girls aged 10 and under can join in on the fun for just $8, completing a 1/4 mile sprint and earning their own finisher medal.
Registration for the SHEro 5K is available at various prices, starting at $25 until January 10, 2026. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to support a great cause, as all proceeds will benefit the local domestic violence shelter. Participants will receive a participant t-shirt, custom race sticker, and a finisher medal (while supplies last), as well as a swag bag featuring promotions from local businesses. Last year, the event was able to donate over $6,000, and this year we aim to surpass that total! Join us in making a difference while having a blast with friends and family at this inspiring event in Kokomo!

Club Kokomo Roadrunners will be hosting the second annual Be a SHEro 5K Run/Walk on March 7, 2026, in Kokomo. The SHEro 5K is part of the Kokomo Women' Expo and a fundraiser and women's only race celebrating International Womens Day (March 8th) encouraging healthy activity in our community. Were ready to make this a fun and empowering event for women in Central Indiana.
We've added a Little SHEro Sprint! For only $8, Girls 10 and under can participate in a 1/4 of a mile sprint and receive their own finisher medal.
Registration Costs: $25 until January 10, 2026, $30 until February 2, 2026, $35 until February 16th, 2026, and $40 until Race Day on March 7th. Sorry, but there are NO REFUNDS since this is a fundraising event to benefit our local domestic violence shelter.

* Register by February 16th to guarantee a T-shirt in your size
